NFL Ravens' Kicker Justin Tucker Accused of Sexual Assault

Posted by Kristen Lojewski | Feb 03, 2025

Justin Tucker, NFL Ravens' kicker, has been accused of "inappropriate sexual behavior by six massage therapists in the Baltimore area," according to ESPN

Tucker denies the allegations. NFL league spokesperson, Brian McCarthy, stated that "[the NFL] first became aware of the allegations from the reporter investigating this story as they were not previously shared with the NFL."

While Tucker denies these allegations, he is not the first NFL player to be accused of sexual assault.

In the early 2000's, Ben Roethlisberger was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old college student. He was suspended for 6 games by the NFL, which was reduced to 4 games for "good behavior."

While there have been other players accused, Deshaun Watson is a notable predator for the more than two dozen survivors who came forward alleging that he sexually harassed or sexually assaulted them during private massage appointments.

Twenty-three of the civil lawsuits against Watson were settled confidentially according to CNN Sports

The NFL sought a full-season suspension against Watson. But the NFL and NFL Players Association reached a settlement, which included an 11-game suspension and a $5 million fine.

Deborah Epstein, the co-director of Georgetown University Law Center's Domestic Violence Clinic, previously served on the NFL Players Association's commission on domestic violence but resigned in 2018, stating in part, "Because I care deeply about violence against women in the NFL and beyond, I can no longer continue to be part of a commission that is essentially a fig leaf...The NFL Players Association is no longer interested in even making a public show of concern about violence against women -- a point driven home more forcefully during each new NFL draft season."

At Lojewski Abuse & Injury Law, Kristen represents survivors of sexual abuse due to the systemic failures of larger corporations, like the NFL and NFL Players Association. Until organizations like the NCAA, NFL, and NFL Players Association hold their football players accountable for sexual abuse, these players will continue to feel untouchable and above the law.

Kristen helps survivors take back control and share their story so that they can focus on healing. At Lojewski Abuse & Injury Law, no corporation is "too big" for Kristen to take on because what matters most to her is pursuing full justice for sexual assault survivors.

Be Seen, Be Heard, Be Safe, and Be Championed at Lojewski Abuse & Injury Law.
